Concept
From low quality products to wasteful high plastic packaging, the 2018 small pet consumer market left very much to be desired. Hay, the main food source for rodents and lagomorphs, is one of the top contributors that increase hay allergies in humans. The kickback of dust as one pulls hay out from bags or boxes generally causes lung sensitivities to eye irritation. My question became - how then can I create a packaging concept the fulfills the following criteria: reusable, recyclable, has ease of use, no need to touch hay (therefore mitigating dust flying), single use
